Three ways to work with me, depending on what your family needs right now.
Preparing for your B1 Trinity College London speaking test? I'll guide you through what to expect, practise with you, and give you the best possible chance of success — in your own time, at your own pace, via Zoom.
£55 per hourPersonalized, engaging lessons for students of any age — from young children just starting out to teens and adults building fluency. Every lesson is tailor-made around the student's level, interests, and goals: building confidence from scratch, sharpening the critical thinking skills that matter in an AI-driven world, or preparing for life and school in an English-speaking environment.
HK$550 / £55 per hourDue to growing needs and demand, Miss Liz now also offers dedicated sessions for families navigating the tension between academic pressure and connection. Drawing on 18 years of experience helping children and families rebuild trust and communication, these sessions help parents and teens move past conflict and distance — especially where exam-focused upbringing has left a teen who's stopped opening up — and find a way back to each other.
£70 per hour (introductory rate, reviewed as demand grows)For families whose teens also need support beyond the relational side, I work alongside Raymond Chow, a Cambridge-educated specialist in university and Oxbridge admissions. Raymond also helps teens explore the working world itself — guiding those who feel lost or uncertain about their future career and life path toward real clarity, not just a stronger application. Together, we can support both the relationship and the road ahead.
